Palm Mar is a modern residential resort still in development just along the coast from Los Cristianos. It has one road in and one road out so traffic tends to be kept to a minimum and it’s far quieter than its neighbours down the coast.
The town has been slowly developed since the 60s, but the real development started to take place in the late 1990s and early 2000s, this is when the likes of complexes such as San Marino, Laderas del Palm Mar and Cape Salema were built, bringing the town more into the public eye and as such, more property buyers started to flock to the area.
