Cheap property and bank repossessed property for sale in Tenerife, especially repossessions for sale on the south coast, sell very quickly.

We get told about loads of property for sale in Tenerife via banks but more importantly at the moment, we’re working with some estate agents in Tenerife who, for various reasons have desperate sellers.

It has to be said that the number of bank repossessions in Tenerife here have fallen greatly in number since the highs of 2010 – 2013 but to be honest there are – and always will be – people that want to sell urgently, so they’re not necessarily a bank repos, but should be good deals.

You used to be able to buy cheap Tenerife apartments for sale in holiday complexes as well as residential complexes but now you’ll be very lucky to find anything like that in the popular resorts such as Las Americas or Los Cristianos Tenerife.

Over the years, development was rapid and the coasts of Los Cristianos, Las Americas soon became built up with apartment blocks and hotels making the south a very desirable area to buy property and as such, prices went up along the the buildings.

Various economic crisis’ during the years caused the property market to crash on a couple of occasions and at those times there were plenty of bank repossessions for sale in Tenerife.


Are there any properties in Tenerife for 50.000€…?

There are still a few cheap and repossession properties for sale in Tenerife but to be honest they’re getting few and far between as we come out of the latest crisis and trying to buy your dream holiday home in Tenerife for 50.000€ is a dream that has long since vanished.


Tourism and property prices in Tenerife.

As time has gone on, tourism has developed into much more of a designer type business and with it has brought the more exclusive areas of Costa Adeje and Bahía del Duque in Tenerife.

Properties in these areas have raised the bar with regard to quality of build as along with it, prices have increased in line with them too.

One bedroom apartments in areas such as La Caleta or Playa Fañabé, rarely sell for anything under the 200.000€ price range.


Other areas to consider.

Properties in the hills and rural properties in Tenerife are getting more and more sought after.

People are looking to get away from it all and the mountains and villages to the island are the perfect place.

There ar e still plenty of bargains for sale here but you really have to be in the right place at the right time.
